Please help this newbie! (Sock Question)

OK...I'm knitting my first pair of socks on 4 DPNs. Today I was watching TV.... knitting away....and dropped a stich which I didn't notice until like 4 rows later! :x HELP! I've already knit 7 inches (on the way to 8 inches) and I have no idea how to fix this. Can someone offer me their expertise?
