I bought the pattern for this Navajo design poncho.

I was thinking I'd put a little away here and there and pick up the wool sometime next year.

But then... they've gone and discontinued the wool I need!

So, one quick run to my LYS, and a big bag of wool later I had just enough for the poncho...

Yay! Visa has saved me again!

I bought the suggested wool in the given colours, so it should turn out looking very much like the picture.

I didn't plan to buy the supplies until I finished my other projects, so I;ve stashed away the yarn and I'm resisting the temptation of starting another new project.

As for expense, it took 20 balls of yarn so it was a little pricy.
