View Full Version : What was that site again?
The one that had the spinning kits that came with roving and a drop spindle? My friend in NZ just got a huge thing of roving from her friend's sheep. She even got the woman to hand dye it for me. Now I really need to get my hands on a drop spindle so I can do more than stare at a colorful fluff ball

Aby let me know if you find a good spindle (and I'll do likewise) I'm looking to learn how to spin bad! I can't wait but I need a good spindle and instructions. (hands on I think) There's a big wool festival coming up in October (New York) and I think I'll find my spindle there.
Don't know the site but I'm sure someone else will or how about google?

Looks like VickiIL talked about a kit (with a book, even!) that she bought online in THIS THREAD (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?p=24201&highlight=drop+spindle+kit#24201). You may want to PM her and ask where she bought it!
Okay, I pm'd her and I will post any info she gives me, in here, Victoise.
Thank you Kelly http://intheclique.com/images/smilies/3icon_hug.gif

I just found this one and it actually looks better than the one I have since it has the video. I am thinking about purchasing this just for the video if they won't sell me the video on its own.

This is the one I bought. It has a book instead of a video...I bought the delux kit.
I don't really need the video, and I actually like the look of the drop spindle she bought.. soo pretty
Thank you Vicki!
