Hello,

Do you have any recommendation for cooling yarn? Does not retain warm type of yarn.

Thank you.

There are all kinds of yarn out there. Cottons and blends of cottons would be the coolest, I would think. I knit for winter, but maybe some of our Floridians can give you some more specific ideas.

Ribbon yarns are also rather cool, and come in a shocking array of colours and effects.

Cottons, mercerized cottons, and rayon blends. I've heard that modal is pretty cool too, although I haven't used it yet. And yeah, silky ribbon yarns can be downright cold.

Whatever you knit with, knit it at a loose gauge to encourage air flow.

Thanks a lot for all your replies!

I will certainly be looking around for all the yarns you have mentioned!
