Here's what you'll end up with....although, I think mine is larger than what you would get if you used worsted wt yarn. I used Jewelbox.

I used Jewelbox.

Quite appropriate! That would be for the family jewels then, huh? :roflhard: :roflhard:

lol, Thanks everybody! I'll be making that sometime soon if I have the yarn for it somewhere. Silly boyfriend... :oo:

That's too funny Kelly about using Jewelbox for it. I just felt that yarn today. It feels alright. Kinda reminds me of a weird Lion Brand Suede.

Um...what's a truss?? :??

Ingrid
11-15-2005, 09:43 PM
And you call yourself a former nursing student. A truss is a belt-type device used for hernias. :rofling:

There are more modern ones, they're still used for guys who don't want surgery. I just thought this one would be the least 'clinical'. So there.

This almost DEMANDS to be knit, doesn't it? Hubmaster is going to get one in his stocking!

It's finally cold here, so I think it's time for me to try to knit one.

The year my hubby and I got together I crocheted two out of some sparkly boucle. One for DH who worked outside, and I didn't want him getting cold when I wasn't around! :roflhard: The other one I made for my uncle who was going through chemo at the time. Both were made as jokes, and {to the best of my knowledge  } both were unused.

Not actually being a guy...maybe this is naive...but it seems like it *COULD* help if a man was going to be outside a lot.

I dunno, DH never complains about it being cold "down there" ... generally he goes into graphics about the OPPOSITE

I have some soft black merino I might try... I have some sparkly fun fur, which would be cool (to me) but I don't think he wasn't to have anything ticklely the the netherlands.

but I don't think he wasn't to have anything ticklely the the netherlands.

Um, doesn't he already?
WHOA  Where'd THAT come from? Did I say that out loud????
:roflhard:

I actually am thinking of making one for my friends DH.. but the how odd would that be coming from me? So, perhaps I'll make her some pasties or something fun they can have a matched set of...
