I've used a chain for the 'needle' part, as it allows a better 'sit' for most 'common' sized needles. They comfortably fit a 10mm needle-as they are sitting on in the picture (US 15), and would definitely fit a 12mm, I don't know if *this* set would fit a 15mm needle, but I can make them larger.

What do you think?

Oooh, those are lovely! And I can see what you mean about the "sit"--the chain has wonderful flexibility that rings do not. There's no problem with the chain snagging the yarn?

Ooooh! Pretty! I've only had problem if I'm using a rigid ring that's too small, and that's my fault. I'm not sure how the chain would be, I'll trust your judgement on that, but I love the look!

I've had no snag issues, the links are pretty smooth.

There'll be some sets up on Ebay througout the month.
