I just now learned to purl!

I have posted here once before (because I didn't realize I was doing a garter stitch, and the wonderful Ingrid helped me)

My FI was unappreciative, so I figured I'd tell some people who'd understand.

I'm so excited! The little v's are so pretty! I really like garter stitch, I knit a whole bib, but.....I didn't feel like I was really knitting yet. And I was having such a hard time with purling. My fingers simply would not cooperate.

But then I figured, after I finished the bib this morning -- hey, I know that I can do this. I learned to knit in just a few minutes, not even a half hour. and now I can do it really quickly and evenly. And so I tried again. And it just worked!

And...nice to meet you all! I have been lurking about, and you all seem so very nice. I am excited to be here!

*nodnod* I now have several rows of stockinette -- I'm still as slow as a sloth on purling, but I'm getting there -- and I am just about as proud as I could possibly be! :)
