Jessica, where are you in Iowa (did I ask you that before?)

I'm way down in SE Iowa, halfway between Mount Pleasant and Burlington.

And sometimes the fields have soybeans. ;)

Well, I don't know if I can be friends with you people...I'm not sure which team I like less, the Huskers or the Hawks. But you realize it's just jealousy, when you're an Iowa State fan, you have to learn to live with disappointment. :(

:roflhard: :roflhard:

*Sara wails in a pitiful voice* "Go, Cyclones!!"

Maryland's Eastern Shore is like half corn. My friends and I like to play a game called "The Corn Game" on our way to the beach...When you see a cornfield, you say "cooooooooorrrrrrnnnn" and sustain it until the cornfield ends or you pass out. :roflhard:

DH and I get all giggly when we drive down the road and there are cornfields on BOTH SIDES! It doesn't happen often out here, too many cows.

I live near the country where you see cornfeilds for miles driving. Then you run into chicken, pig, and cow farms, then apple orchards, strawberry feilds, blue berry bushes, raspberry farms, and alot of other things. I live in a small town where everything is basically fresh if you want fresh produce. I remember riding my bike down to this abandoned parking lot to get these fresh, big juicy strawberrys to make some quick strawberry shortcakes.. Mmmm... Those are really good.

Hehe... I remember living by cornfeilds. I used to be scared because of thinking of the movie Children of the Corn

there is little that i love more than the smell of fresh turned soil when i get out of Omaha. and one of my favorite parts of Omaha are the Boys Town corn fields. Just something about it that I love! I guess it is that even though the city is growing so much, it can't take over that little piece!

must be that farm girl that is still in me! ;)
