Help Needed: "Toys to Knit" Elephant

So, I'm trying to make this VERY cute elephant from Tracy Chapman's Toys To Knit. The elephant is made from 18 seperate pieces... really easy to knit. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a diagram on how to sew them up! :?? Has anyone worked from this book and have any advice?

I knitted a teddy bear but since I hate to sew it is in the TO BE FINISHED drawer.

I know it will be cute but just can't make myself sew it up yet. :rollseyes:
