Man Ijust got the most gorgeous soft soft soft luxurious yarn:

Peruvian Tweed Alpaca. It's superfine and 600 yards. It would make the most luscious sweater but I think it might cost too much.

What would you make with this? I might try this corkscrew scarf but that might be a waste. I love this stuff. Should I make a shawl?
Going to do a swatch.

Btw, !! I paid $28.50 TWENTY EIGHT FIFTY for this skein (Seaport Yarns) and now I found today with a google that you can get it for $22 at a lot of places. PLUS $4 subway fare, hmmmmmmmmmmm

Oh well. Finders fee I guess.

:inlove: :inlove: I think that with superfine you should go for a shawl. A sweater would take so much it would be ridiculous. A lacy shawl would look lovely

Thanks Ingrid! Yeah, I was dreamin' ... a slinky soft little sweater but it would take forever. Maybe in the future... It's so nice to hold this stuff though, wow. Alpaca blows me away.

Sometimes just holding it is enough!
