Alrighty, how do you wind a hank?

Hoping to do my first Kool-Aid dye this evening, and right now (LB Fisherman's Wool) is in a commercially wound skein, obviously will need to be unwound between two chairs or something (I'm going to try 3 or 4 colors, eek!). When dry, just wind it up around something smaller and twist? I want to see what it will look like in all its yarnly goodness afterwards! LOL

That's exactly what I'd do. There is a tool for it called a niddy noddy, but I don't think you need to invest in one just yet.
