Ugh, I -so- don't miss those temperatures. I feel for you though...I hate cold weather.

(At least you don't hafta go outside at 6-7 am to take care of the horses/goats/etc. ;) It's always nicer when you can just stay inside and try to keep warm. )

Just wait though, you will feel like there is a tropical heat wave when the temp warms to 0 :roflhard:

Hello,
thanks for weather updates. Its good to see that some of us arenot running around like ragged wolfs attempting to russel up some good gams for spinning. Its cold and reports of weather tempature dropping to below 3 degrees was a misdeamenor. It stayed relatively comfortable all day. I started somethin for my toes thinking we were going to get snowed in for good, but find that now that it is sunny I'd like to say hi to the garden.

This is why I love PA.... perfect weather... It gets up in the 100's in the summer, and gets below zero(sometimes) in the winter. The temperature never stays the same either :rofling:

I know nothing about woodstoves and oil having always lived in southern CA. We have a forced air heater and a wood burning fireplace, but the fireplace doesn't really provide much heat unless you are sitting in front of it.

Woodstoves are easy to take care of, but you have to know how to get them lit properly.

And not do what I did... which was I put the wood in first, THEN I put the newspaper in, then it flew out, caught some of the floor on fire

Ahhhhh, this weather is good for the soul! :happydance:
Keeps out the RiffRaff I say!. My mom moved to Phoenix for health and sanity reasons cuz of this type of thing...lol...but I tell her you can only get so nekkid when it's 90 at night. At least so long long as your pipes don't freeze, you can put on more clothes.
and... NO HURRICAINES, VOLCANOES, EARTHQUAKES
