Here (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9343&start=0) is the hat. It takes not that long to make and is very cute! :D

(Carmen posted it on the first post... just thought I'd give you all a heads up on that one too  )

hi there:)
i was wondering , why the one blanket your working on is called Coca cola?
AND it looks like one i make in garter stitch, where u cast on a few sts & inc til its half the size & then dec, where it comes out in a square.
is this the same idea?
thanx

The reason for that is because it's going to be the color of a coca cola can/bottle. The red yarn isn't that bright in real life. Plus, it's going to have a white border on the outside with the words Coca-Cola on the one side. :)

Jenelle, they are real pretty. How did you make those blankets? (coca cola blanket and baby blanket) I wish I could knit like that, I can only knit scarves and blankets!!! Anyway, congrats on your great knitting abilities!!

hi again:)
ah, ok on the coke a cola question :)
now on the 2nd question, is this done in St st & is it the patt where you start with a few stitches & inc til its as wide as you want it & then dec back down to the few sts again?
thanx

The baby and coca-cola blankets are done with a garter st border with st st body. It's not that hard really. Cast on a number of stitches(I casted on 11), and decide how big you want your border to be. The border on the coca cola blanket is 5 sts, and the border on the baby blanket is 2 sts. :)

Thank you all for the comments! :)

Great stuff! I love the pink hat, the pattern is really nice.

Couldn't those baby blankets be like a scarf for an adult? Well, I'm making stuff to sell and I love scarves... I like the way it has the holes along the edges. Did you do a yo every time you got the edge or what?

Yes, that's what I did.

How do you make baby blankets into scarves? :??

now what i need help with is: after casting on, do you knit that row, only or do you do ur incs with YO on the first row or what?
on the diag garter that i do, i co 5 sts knit a row
then inc every row til its as wide as i want then do the same with a dec on every row

when I start one of these dishrags, and it's just a small triangle with the string hanging off, I hold it up and tell my husband I'm knitting some new thong undies. tee hee. ;)

Knit the row without YO, and then on the second row you knit five, YO, knit 1, YO, knit five. Then on the next row, knit five, purl until you get to the last 5 sts, knit them, and basically that's all you do.
