This is actually my 3rd skein, but the first one to turn out the way I wanted it to (and my first successfully plied one):

That looks fantastic Arugula, first of all - WELL DONE!! :cheering: As for what you can make with it - hmmmm, how about a little purse, or do you have an ipod? maybe an ipod sock or something, the wpi would make a difference (I find it hard to tell from the picture). Can't wait to see what you do make...

This is going to sound stupid but I don't have a ruler so I have no idea what the WPI is!

WPI means "wraps per inch". You get any size ruler, with inch markings, and you wrap your yarn around the ruler until it reaches at least an inch. Then you count how many times your yarn went around to make an inch. This shows how THICK your yarn is.

18+ wpi is Lace weight
16 wpi is Fingering
14 wpi is Sport Weight
12 wpi is Worsted Weight
10 wpi is Bulky Weight
8 or less wpi is Very Bulky Weight

I realize that sounded weird, I know what the term WPI is but I don't have a ruler so I can't measure the WPI of my yarn.

Just buy one at a office supply store. Any ruler will work - you don't have to have a special tool.

Gorgeous!! :inlove:

The lines on a standard index card (recipe box?) are spaced at exactly 1/4", or so I've been told. You could use that to measure. Or...do you have a needle gauge, that shows inches. I'm sure there are other things with standard 1" measurements on it, that I can't think of. Worth getting a ruler though!
