Does anyone have, or know where to find an easy pattern for socks? I'm new to knitting, and new to socks, so I want it simple.

I do have a book "Socks Soar on 2 Circular Needles." Seems like a great book so far, but do you know of any other "simple" patterns?

Thanks.

Silver's tutorial is awesome. It really goes step by step for a beginner. You use dpns with this tutorial and it makes it simple.

If you're completely new to knitting socks, I also suggest the North Country Cotton baby sock on the Free Patterns section

http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/free_patterns/sock-pattern.php

It gives you a chance to try all the techniques necessary for an adult sock, but knits up really quickly with any worsted weight cotton. Helpful videos for many of the trickier stages too, like turning the heel and working the gusset!

If you want a REALLY easy pattern, you can make tube socks, without a heel.
