Here's my latest FO's. The sock was made from the yarn that I dyed with koolaid. :happydance: I love the way the colors knitted up! I've started on the second sock, but only have about 2" done so far.
I got the pattern for the scarf off of Lion Brand's website. It was made with homespun yarn. It comes in such pretty colors, but is a pain in the butt to knit with. :(
The purse is out of 'Hollywood Knits Style' by Suss Cousins. I  that book! The yarn is called Landscapes. I think LB makes it. :?? I'm thinking of adding a knitted flower to the bottom corner of the purse, but haven't decided on what color to do it in.
That's all for now! :D

I know the patterns are copywrited, but could you tell me the yarn that is recommended, needle size and gauge info?
I want to go ahead and buy my yarn (or get from my stash if I have it) before the book from the library gets here.
Thanks.

Thanks!
Pensguys,
The recommended yarn is Brown Sheep Company's Burly Spun in color # 110 (orange, one skein). Size 15 needles. Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch.

I forgot to ask...did you line your purse?
Danielle

Yes, I did line it. Just some cheapo material that I found at wal-mart....I measured the bag and then cut my material and sewed it up on the machine and then stitched it into the purse by hand. (I am a horrible seamstress, but it looks alright I guess. )
BTW, that is a gorgeous yarn that you are going to use for yours!! Be sure to post pics of the FO!

Wow! Your sock looks great! I'd never guess that the yarn was hand dyed! Love the purse, and even though I'm not a fan of Homespun, your scarf has a great look!
Beautiful! And that hand-dyed yarn worked up great--I love the colors!

Very pretty socks, so soft those colors! That bag was made on Size 15?
Doesn't look like it but it's hard to tell I guess. It's a very neat bag, I love it. Yeah, I've been intimidated to line a bag but I have abeautiful new sewing machine so I really need to take the leap. I'm so initimidated about positioning the lining inside the bag etc etc etc!
I have to try it though! Great work!

Love it all  I love dyeing with koolaid! I've only done it once, but it was FUN!! LOL, then I used up most of my dyeable yarn...but I have some sock yarn left....so i'm gonna do some more koolaid dyeing. I LOVE  your colors!!
