FO - Malabrigo Socks, Plus WIP - Clapotis

Behold, my first socks!! They're a birthday present for a very good friend. She loves socks, so this was perfect for her. :)

The yarn is Malabrigo in Verdeazul. Gorgeous stuff.

I've also started Clapotis (http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATTclapotis.html) for my mom's bday (April Fool's Day.) I'm making it about 1/2 sized, though. She's more of a scarf person, and I'm thinking she'll really enjoy this.

Great job! I'd love to hear how much karaoke you end up using with a scarf-size Clapotis--I like the pattern but I'm not sure I would want a full size one.
