I finished up my Apricot Jacket from Rebecca 27 yesterday. It's done with Skacel Sirinetta yarn (about 9.5 balls). I'm pretty happy with the way it came out!

Sorry I haven't been around much lately--I've been reading, but haven't had much time to post!

It looks purple to me! It's lovely and you did a fantatic job!

BTW...I thought "Apricot Jacket" meant it was apricot colored.

Hmm, yeah, I guess it's a purply-pink to me. Maybe it's my monitor.

Either way I still like it! ^_^

Okay, maybe more of a lilac color...it does have a little pink in it..more than blue.

That is a beautiful jacket!!

How did you like working with that yarn? I just ordered some in brown for a baby cardi.

Thanks guys! It's kind of a heathered purple color in person.

That is a beautiful jacket!!

The yarn is ok--not my favorite, but pretty easy to work with. I had a hard time with the gauge; I saw somewhere that it should be 18 st/4 in on size 6-8 needles, but I ended up getting 20 st/4 in on size 9s. Also, the last ball of yarn in the bag of 10 was much thinner than the rest. Should be a good weight and softness for a baby cardi though!

That is so unusual, I love the effect in the back. It's really pretty on you!

What a big job.

I've yet to do something that big, well except for my lace shrug.

Nice job!

Thanks everyone! :D

I think it's a lot of luck, and also making things smaller than I think I should. Knitwear can stretch, and I like things fitted rather than too loose.
