Hi,

I'm looking for a lace project that isn't a shawl, or a hat, or a scarf, or gloves, or socks...looking for a wearable like a cami for summer or spring perhaps?

I prefer a free pattern...budget budget budget... or perhaps a pattern trade?

I have 2 skeins of knit picks alpaca cloud (440 yards each) and one skein of knit picks shimmer ( same deal, 440 yds)

I've never knit lace, but I'm SOOO not afraid! I'm totally self taught(this is my second season knitting), and reciently I figured out a pattern of a bag ( http://www.salvatoreferragamo.it/web/index.html ) (knit w/wicker top) and wrote a pattern for it,(others are still trying to figure it out!)knit up my own version of the bag that looks better than the original! Dang I'm so proud! hehehe. So anyway, if anyone has any ideas of suggestions, I'd appreciate them greatly!

Thanks much!

Here's a lace dress (http://www.knittingfog.net/corinne.html). If it's too long, maybe you could just make it shorter?

You're welcome. There are so many nice patterns available for free on the internet, that I hardly ever have to pay for patterns anymore. It's great, isn't it?
