Classic Elite Premiere?

I want to make a light tank or cami (maybe Honeymoon) before I head to the Sunbelt, and was planning to use KP Shine. But Classic Elite Premiere is discounted for the WEBS anniversary sale, and it looks yummy! Only problem - I've never used it before. Has anyone knitted with it? Would it be good for a light summer top? Or too dressy?
