WIP: Variation on a theme of the FT Walking Away Sock

I started using this pattern (http://www.jimmybeanswool.com/secure-html/onlinegen/currgen/FiberTrends/FiberTrendsPattern.asp?showLarge=true&specPCVID=5890), but then opted not to put cables on the heel since I rarely wear open-backed shoes. I knit this on size 3 dpns to make the stitches snug and comfy on the foot.

This is knit in Artyarns Supermerino (http://yarn.com/webs/0/0/0/0-1001-1294-1323/0/4/1088/) (color 105), a wonderfully soft yarn that Andrea bought for me! Because cables devour yarn, the two hanks I have aren't enough for two socks. My fantabulous swap buddy Friskums has sweetly bought the third hank for me so that I can complete the pair! :happydance:
