I feel so dumb because I've forgotten this: I'm trying to knit some basic 2x2 ribbing. I can't remember the pattern. Do I knit into the purled stitches or purl into the purled stitches? Thanks!

As they face you--knit and purl as you're looking at them, not what you did on the last row.
