I just found a pattern that I'm rally excited about for a baby blanket - it's really pretty, very simple (a basketweave on a small gauge)but here's my problem. I want to use a natural fiber/natural blend, but since it's a baby blanket, I really want Mom to be able to throw it in the dryer and not worry about it. I also don't want to use wool, because of sensitivities and so on. Can anyone help me find something suitable?

I recently bought some Cleckheaton Fiddle Dee Dee 100% cotton yarn. It's so pretty and soft. It's worsted weight. I am not sure if the weight is suitable for a blanket, but it's definitely the material for it.

Knit Picks Shine (http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/yarn_list.aspx?searchType=KeyWord&page=1&pagesize=10&newWeek=6&keywords=shine&titleName=shine&numberShown=1) comes in two weights and is machine washable. It's also wonderfully squooshy and soft :D
