Anyone know of one? Looking for a soft, bulky superwash merino. I guess if I don't find one, I'll be using two strands of KP swish, but I figure someone must make one.

If you go to yarndex.com and search by weight bulky and fiber wool, lots of options come up. I'm not sure though if any of them are merino and superwash.

Scratch that...there is one merino superwash I could find there:

Unfortunately that one was discontinued in 2004. I wish yarndex had some more features on the search page, to narrow down the results. I did find a Debbie Bliss Merino Chunky that is superwash on elann.com.

Lorna's Laces has Shepherd Bulky which is superwash, but I'm not sure it's merino (but it is 100% wool). I can vouch that it doesn't feel itchy to me at all, I would wear it next to bare skin, but I don't think it's quite as soft as MMMMMMalabrigo, but Sheperd Bulky is a 3-ply and MMMMMalabrigo is a single ply, so that may have something to do with it.

It does come in some gorgeous colors!

What about Lamb's Pride Superwash Bulky. Probably not merino, but quite affordable. And the description says it's supersoft and not itchy:

Thanks for the suggestions. My LYS does not carry Lorna's Laces. Anyone know the best online source?
