Although from her posts, we all know that Nikki has excellent taste in yarn, she is one of the rare few who is not crazy about Malabrigo. So she SHARED WITH WITH ME!!!

:muah: :muah: :muah: :muah: Such a generous thing to do!! I've already started on a pair of clogs for Ryan since he fell in love with the light blue, and I'm eyeing the fall-colored one for a possible Falling Leaves scarf.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

What yarn did Nikki dumped Mmmm for? I want to know!

Wowee, lucky you Ingrid! Those colours are beautiful!

INGY! That "fall" colored one is STONECHAT... the same color with which I made my cropped cardi! LURRRV that! If you want another most-of-a-skein, I can send it...

In fact, never mind.... I WILL send it!

I usually use 1.5 skeins to make a scarf of decent length, anyway. :cheering:

I'm all kinds of jealous. Or, at least, I think I am. I won't know for certain until later this week when my first skein of malabrigo will be here. Here's hoping I fall in lust with this yarn. I'm amazed that the woman I bought it from was willing to let it go and for only $5. At least, from what I've heard, I'm amazed. Watch me be one of the 1% of knitters who just aren't wowed by it.

But I'm easily wowed, so I doubt that'll happen. I'm such a goob; I enjoyed working with a soft superfine merino so much that after I finished the hat I was working on, I took a length of the yarn and made the world's cheapest (but softest!) bracelet. I just couldn't let it go . . . It's important for me to get my daily dose of wool, so I figured this was better than an IV drip . . .

I think the best part of the Mmmmalbrigo is knitting with it. It feels nice on the skein, but just for 'fiberbating' I prefer alpaca and regular merino. Aaaaah, but the feel of mmmmm on the needles is heaven!

Kelly!! :cheering: :muah:

Which hopefully leads to Yarngasm?? :eyebrow:

Quiara,... you are SO NOT a "goob"! (Although, I think I may use that word from time to time if you dont mind sharing...) Im easily enamored of several fibers, too... we ALL are and that's why we all get along so well! Who else would understand??
