I recently visited a website that was offering bone needles for sale. They were very pretty and I was wondering if anyone has used these or not and how they felt. I would like to start a DH Xmas wishlist, and was wondering if these would be a good addition. The rosewood needles are so pretty, but I'm not very into the bamboo so I thought rosewood would be similar, but maybe the bone would be better.

Rosewood needles are much nicer than bamboo. They have a much smoother feel. I can't say I have ever seen or used bone needles. I have seen vintage ivory ones. My grandmother has needles and hooks from when she was little made from ivory.

It might be if they were taking the bone against your will. :teehee:

I would imagine that they're cow or pig bones. At least, I hope so...*gulp*
