This coming weekend (Nov 4 thru the 6) we're going to be in Spokane. What and where is your favorite yarn shops? I can't wait to see them.

Hi!
A Grand Yarn is really nice (Grand Blvd. just South of the hospital). Holy Threads (620 S. Washington) is a little pricey but it's an amazing shop and close to A Grand Yarn.

A Grand Yarn is my favorite. So far I've not been to Holy Threads (because I always get lost along the way so I just go to A G Y), but a friend of mine really likes it there.

There's a place downtown that I'd strongly recommend you DON'T go to. It's called Allinda Knitting Boutique. The lady who works there is absolutely wonderful & extremely helpful, but I found the yarn dusty & dirty. If I go there it's usually only for patterns and/or needles. Since A G Y has it all, that's where I usually go.

Great thank you! Thanks for the tip on dirty dusty yarn.

Ok went to A Grand Yarn, it's nice but I'm still very partial to my local yarn shop Fancy Image Yarn.

I did buy some Berroco Chinchilla yarn on sale, Trendsetter yarn, and a scarf kit.

I did like all the classes that they offered, it will be very good for my Cousins there.

I'm in Spokane, and new to knitting. I actually learned from this site, haha.

I haven't gotten anything from anywhere but WalMart yet. I haven't had a chance to shop around much.

I travel all around the world and Holy Threads in Spokane is by far the most exciting, friendly, and interesting shop! Check out their website and take the virtual tour at http://www.holythreads.net I have been to shops in Italy, Scottland, and of course all the great Seattle shops and Holy Thread's really stands out. The first thing that you will notice, whether your into yarn or just accompanying the shopper is the customer service. The folks that own the shop and work their are warm, fun, very knowledgable, and generous with their time. I go to Holy Threads every time I am in Spokane, my Spokane relatives are regulars there! The shop is in a huge beautiful home, displays are beyond inspiring, and the selection is better than I have found anywhere, prices are better than anywhere too!
