Hi,
This is new to me and I may have entered my question in the wrong place so I thought I would place it here too. I am looking for a knitted pattern for leg warmers for a six year old. Does anyone have one or know where I can get one? My granddaughter is into gymnastics and I thought some really cute leg warmers would be great to keep her warmer and look really cute at the same time. But size for her thin little legs is hard to judge. I don't want them falling down and or falling off. Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. Leg warmers are back in but I was searching the free patterns and didn't find too much help. I did find a fun fur one and will probably try that but I would like a pattern I can use different yarn with.
Thanks so much,
Renee

There is a cute story about a girl knitting legwarmers, wearing them to school, then frantically knitting more for her friends on this webpage:

She used the pattern in the book "Knit Wits" by Amy Singer for her legwarmers.

Here's another book that has a legwarmer pattern.

Here's a free pattern written for children's size.
