I haven't posted out here in quite some time.
I fell in  with this colorway for the Mmmmmmmmmalabrigo wool and just had to make something out of it. Naturally I should have bought more - and heck, I just might!

It's just a no-frills ribbed hat, so no pattern involved. I co 64 stitches in K4 P4 rib, then increased after a couple inches to 72sts - this of course threw off the ribbing pattern, but did create a kind of border line at the edge. The decreasing didn't go as I planned, but I'm totally ok with that. I successfully used 2 circulars on something other than hand warmers. It's yummy to the touch and hugs my head - finally! :cheering: I usually can't get regular adult size hat patterns to fit over my dreads! :teehee:

Happy knitting!

Don't I know about hats that won't fit over my hair! Very nice hat and congrats on moving up with the 2 circs. I suck at that method.

Ooh, I love the color. It looks great on you!

I never thought of Florida as getting cold enough for hats, then I heard on the news this morning that some place in Florida actually just received a bit of snow.

Pretty! What colorway is that? :inlove:

It's the Loro Barranquero (http://www.malabrigoyarn.com/catalogo.htm) yarn from their variegated line.

 Thanks everyone for checking this out, and for the compliments!! Next time I'll do the math right though. I'm going to do a web search for tips on decreases in ribbing that make it look a little nicer at the top.
