View Full Version : Knitting in the round and following chart

I've never followed a chart before, but I read that you follow the chart from left to right on the odd rows, and then you follow the chart from right to ledt on the even rows. Is this accurate?

I'd like to make something with a design on it that I'm going to chart myself, but it's going to be something knitted in the round. How do I follow a chart then? Would you follow the chart from left to right for each row? :??

No you go read from right to left every row when reading a chart in the round.

No, I just wanted to mention that with items knitted flat it is the Right Side rows that are read right to left and Wrong Side rows are read left to right. Usually the right side rows are odd numbered although not always. [/i]
