I am making the Beaded Lace Scarf (see link in signature) out of 100% hand-dyed silk. The pattern says that when i'm done, i should submerge the scarf in cool water for 30 min and then block it. But i wasn't sure if those directions were for wool yarn only? Or would it be the same for silk?

I've never knit with silk before so i'm not sure what to do with it! Any suggestions for blocking??

Thanks!

Hmm, if you shouldn't wet block, how do you clean the things you knit with this yarn - dry clean only??
