View Full Version : Leftovers vest

I made this using Andean Silk from knitpicks. I'm rather happy with how it turned out. :cheering: This is my first adult piece that I will actually wear out of the house.
I should also mention I altered the pattern a bit. I only did 2 inches of ribbing on the bottom and I also did 1 less inch in the body part.

It looks really great!! You've inspired me to finish mine - all I really have left to do is the armhole finishing and a few more ends to weave in.
Looks great - you can wear it proudly!! :muah:

comparing the vest on knitty with yours, I think I like the less ribbing at the bottom too. Great Job!

Did you double the yarn for the ribbing like the pattern does? I really like your vest much better than Knitty's example. I am going to knit my striped with red, orange, green, pink and brown. I hope it turns out okay.

I did double the yarn. knitqueen said it doesn't work with 1 strand. I just did 2 Inches of ribbing instead of doing the 3 inches.
Heres another thread that talks a little about this vest
