I've made plenty of simple hats and scarves and am ready for something a little more complex including a few new stitches, so I thought I should make myself a sweater vest since I do like to wear them.

By sweater vest I mean a sleeveless sweater with a circular or v- neck, not the kind of vest that has buttons in the front. Hope I have the terminology right. An argyle pattern might be nice but I'm open minded. Anybody know a pattern that's not too difficult, but may help me expand my skills?
