Mosaic knitting

Hi everyone. I recently finished a boy's cardigan sweater that had some nordic stripes that were done with a mosaic knitting pattern. When finished I found that it was very simple (except for lack of instructions when doing increases or decreases).

I have searched the internet and have been unable to find patterns using this mosaic pattern method.

Can anyone suggest some websites for patterns, or books that feature this method?

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. I tried to get some ideas but I find I need explicit instructions for a pattern for this technique.

I'm off to the library to see if they have any of Barbara Walker's books on their shelf.
