I have Debbie Bliss Chunky Cashmerino in Taupe it is
71 yds.
Gauge: 14
(Stitches per 4.0 inches/10cm.)
The SA said I needed 3balls to make a pair of mittens, ended up using 1 and 3/4 :??

how about a winter headband. i made a variation of the "panta" pattern at garnstudio.com. I think it used about 70 yards. i love wearing mine.
