Felting and LB Incredible

I got some Patons wool yarn to make a felted purse and I got Lion Brand Incredible to hold with it. Has anyone used Incredible as an accent for felting? Does is shred during the felting process? I haven't started the project yet, so I can still take it back. The colors were just so awesome!

I've never used it, but it will not felt at all. It should provide some nice detail and color if it works.
