I'm in Fredericton but happen to be in Halifax somewhat frequently. I can let you know if I am coming down.

There are some great wool shops in Hali too.... check them out!

I'm in Halifax, but group knitting is something I've yet to do.

There is a group called Knitting Out Loud, however, that meets at Uncommon Grounds frequently. There may be a Dartmouth one as well, but I'm not sure.
