It didn't take long, did it? I remember when you were asking for ideas about what to knit with the yarn.

Oh not at all..it only took me 2 days and I only knitted a lil bit off and on. So its a very quick knit

Aimee, did you use the pattern's suggested mattress stitch to seam the two pieces together? I made my mom the Kick ***-cot! (http://vickiehowell.com/2006/04/kick-***-cot.html). The instructions for it simply said to "stitch the two pieces together".

I have not finished it yet because I can't figure out how to attach the two pieces.

Since the two scarves are basically the same as far as the two skinny parts needing to be attached, I'm sure they could be done the same way. I tried to follow the mattress stitch instructions from my SNB, it looked to me that you would do that when attaching to knitted garments together from the side. The fake grafting stitch explained in the book looked like it was for this type attachment, but it explained doing it with stockinette stitched pieces.

I know this is probably very simple, but sometimes it seems the simpler something is supposed to be, the harder it is for me to do. :wall:

So, how did you attach yours? :??
