Advice needed - yarn sub

Hi All!

Anyone have a good substitution for Debbie Bliss Wool/Cotton, which they don't make anymore? It's fingerling weight, approx. 25 stitches/4" on US size 3 needles - I'm looking to make a special baby blanket and don't mind spending the money for a nice yarn.
any suggestions would be appreciated!

How about Dale of Norway Stork.. it's 100% Egyptian cotton... verrry nice stuff. Dale's Baby Ull or Daletta are also very nice.

You could probably use any sock weight yarn as a substitute too.

Since you are looking for fingering weight, how about a merino (or merino blend) sock yarn. There are plenty to choose from and many are machine washable.

I have never ordered from them, but have heard good things about the yarn, prices and service. I'd love to try the merino/cashmere blend. They also have a cashmere/cotton that sounds nice.
