I've been wondering about that too :??

But now I think I know it:

DH - dear husband
DS - dear son
DD - dear daughter

That's right?

There used to be a sticky (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8523) on abbreviations -- I'm not sure why it got unstuck.

Just so you know, sometimes the D doesn't stand for 'dear.' :teehee: :teehee:

Ha ha... what about FEXH?

My friend tells people that when she talks about 'arselick', that's a certain ex, 'f***wit' the ex-husband, and there's another word I don't remember for another man...

Some people use DS for Dear Sister as well. It makes for some really confusing posts sometimes. :roflhard:
