I've adopted a soldier!! I will be writing and sending random care packages. I've done this before, and then the soldiers went home, and no more writing.

I got my soldier from Aunt Nancy (www.auntnancyusa.com). I know that they have 21 soldiers who have been waiting to be adopted, some for up to three months.

Don't know if anyone else would be interested, but if you are it's a great thing to do. Some soldiers have e-mail addresses, and access to a computer. So if you are interested, contact Aunt Nancy.

That is great.

I remember back in Desert Storm I had sent a bunch of letters to "any service person" and had about 3 people write to me. It was fun. I still have the letters.
