Does Chenille Yarn "Grow" When Blocked?

This is my first big project Textured Cotton Chenille Sweatshirt (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?p=376362) and I'm making it with Yarn Bee's Dreamy Chenille Yarn. It feels wonderful!!!!!!!!!! I'm done with front and back and just starting on the sleeves now.

It seems a little small though, and I've heard some people say that when blocked, items get bigger. Does that include Dreamy Chenille????????????

I made a face cloth with Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille, and it stretched out really nicely when blocked. I don't know how that yarn compares with what you're using though.

Thanks! Has anyone made a sweater with this? Since it's my first sweater, I don't know what I'm doing - big surprise! :teehee: And the sleeves just seem too tight! I can't imagine it GROWING enough to fit me! :pout:
