First project other than a scarf!

I knitted this for a friend who was having her first baby. Good think I started it the day I found out she was pregnant. Baby was born almost at 9 months and spent another month in the NICU, which is not good, but gave me time to finish this! I can't always knit every day, so it took a very long time and it is certainly NOT perfect, but am very proud of it! In the picture where it is on the chair, it is folded in half.
