I passed my Ph.D. defense yesterday! :cheering: FINALLY!!! After all these years of hard work and mainly frustrations (...), it's done. It went pretty well, but I don't really remember anything. :teehee: I was surprisingly relaxed, I think at that point it was over in my head.

Of course I celebrated with sparkling wine (Mumm Napa... yummy!) and then went to a nice restaurant with my parents and my boyfriend. And today... well I have a headache. :teehee:

I think I hardly realize it! Am I really done? :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

:teehee: I don't think I have much, considering the amount of time I took to finish my degree  You girls can do it too!

No need for Dr. Iza, I don't want to change! It sounds good though :teehee: So ok, only for today. Apparently using the title helps to get better service at car rentals, airports, etc. But I would be very shy to get special treatment because of a title. What does it mean? I just stayed in school for a long time... I was just doing what I loved and I ended up with a PhD. Yes I worked hard but who doesn't these days?

Here in the province I am not allowed to use that title in principle. Only Medical doctors, dentists and vets use it.

As far as buying yarn to celebrate well... I... errr.... bought some yarn already last week. I'm expecting it any day now :teehee:

What does it mean?

What it means is that you'll be paying off school loans forever. :teehee:

But oh so worth it!
