View Full Version : Where can I get these needles?

I've been looking everywhere on the internet, and I can't find the needles I need to make this (http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/60486A.html?noImages=).

Where can you find size 17 (12.75mm), 16" (40cm) circular needles? I really don't want to do this on straights because I didn't want to seam it up...I tried doing it with 29" (73.5cm) and all it did was pull (I can't even do magic loop because it's too short, can I?)

You could use the magic loop mehod if you have a longer size 17 circ or if you happen to have the denise kit you can get tips in 17 and 19 for them now.

If you have a size 17 that's about 30-36" you can do a variation of Magic Loop, a side loop where you only have the needle looped on the right side (which travels around as you knit, until you come back to it again). You can use 2 circs too. You'll be able to start the pattern with a longer one anyway, as the piece before you begin to decrease will be about 50".

Knit Picks (http://www.knitpicks.com/) has #17 tips in their Options line. They are really good. Very light, too.
