I am in love with this blanket, but I don't crochet. Does anyone know of a similar ripple pattern for us knitters?

Try this (http://cache.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/faq-search.cgi?store=/stores/eyarn&faqKey=286) stitch, also called Feather & Fan, or Chevron Stitch (http://www.straw.com/cpy/patterns/shimmer_chev_scarf.html).

I lost my response somehow

Thank you both! I love that rippled look. It may take me the rest of my life, but I need that afghan for my bed :)

My mom (a fabulous knitter) had to learn to crochet after reading about htat blanket on Alicia's blog. She got a whole book only about ripple stitches in both crochet and knit. If you want, I can find out the title/ info. There were at least 30 different variations in it!! The knitted ones are much more gentle in the wave- it is hard to replicate the exact look of the crochet ripple in knitting.

go to the website: yarnlover's room: they have a formula for translating knittingpatterns to crochet and vice versa~!
give it a shot~~!
