Knitty Gritty's episode yesterday was about dyeing yarn. I was excited to see it because I'm always reading about y'all's beautiful, hand-dyed yarn.

Beautiful yarn :cheering: Great job! M-m-m-m  you used Wilton dye huh? I have a bunch of Wilton dyes left over from when I used to bake cakes for a living. You're giving me ideas! :figureditout:

PurlyGyrl- it was so easy! i just mixed maybe a 1/4 tsp of color with warm water in a measureing cup, maybe 1cp h2o?, and in another cup mixed the red. i used a dropper to place the dye on the yarn(after letting it soak in hot water with vinegar then squeezing some out), and when it was as i liked, i microwaved it. it was too red still so i dumped the whole thing in a pot . added somemore water to cover, added a touch more blue to the water, and let it get hot, turned the stove off. after about 40 minutes i rinsed and was happy.
