Thanks! I really enjoyed making it, too. I looked back and I started it around March 7--I can't believe it took less than a month!

I didn't use a specific pattern. I just used basic entrelac directions and made it as wide as I thought it should be.

Thanks, everyone.

I am honestly not sure what I will do with it. It really doesn't match anything in the house, so it may go for a Christmas present--the earliest yet! :happydance: In view of that, I started another one that will match my daughter's house in NC with some tan yarn that has blue specks in it and ordered some blue of the same kind to go with it--Rowan Classic Tweed that I found on sale at Webs. I think the Noro one will go well in my son's place.

I haven't blocked it, but I think I will when I have a place to lay it out without it being stepped on. Maybe on a dry day I can lay it outside in the shade.

Holy Sh*t Ingrid the thing is HUGE.Just beautiful and the Noro yarn looks wonderful.I have some Noro, do you think it will be scratchy for a throw?I would love to make one. What are the dimensions of it?

Ingrid

The Silk Garden feels good on my hands, but not on my face. I think it'll work well for a throw, but I wouldn't want it against my bare skin. I didn't measure it exactly, but it turned out to be about 4 x 4 feet, and I think it'll grow when I block it since it's kind of stretchy.

Holy Cow Ingrid. That is beautiful! So, how many different colors did you actually use? Silk Garden is only available in solids, right? Or maybe I just did not see the multis in my LYS.

Wow. I am so impressed. Makes me want to try and make on myself. If you could actually write out directions, you could sell that pattern!!

Okay, I don't know what I was thinking. Silk Garden comes in wonderful multis. So, which colorway did you choose?
