This is from a Drops/Garnstudio pattern (which I can't find right now) and I finished it last night. It still needs to be blocked, but that's for another day. I used Morehouse Merino in a seafoam green. I altered the pattern so I knit it in the round up to the armholes and then worked back and forth up to the neck. Then I knit the sleeves (which I also changed the pattern on) from the armhole down. No seams!!!

Ingrid that is a lovely colour and so well done.
What's the pattern? It looks a bit like a Gansey

It's fabulous! I think I remember seeing in-progress pics of this. Drops is a great site. How do you like the Morehouse merino?
And I love your avatar. Combines two of my favorite animals, though in a somewhat unexpected manner. :teehee:

Thanks!
The Morehouse Merino was nice to work with--and it's a yarn I actually bought in person since it's not too far from here. It's not as soft as some other merinos, but I liked it, and the sweater feels nice and squishy, There was quite a bit of vegetable matter in it, which I'd kind of expect since the sheep are just down the road. There was a lot of stuff I had to pick out of Noro Silk Garden, though, too.

I've had that happen with the Silk Garden before, too.

You did a great job! I love the diamonds. Thanks for warning me against the Silk Garden. I'm not sure I want to be picking stuff out of my yarn. :teehee:
