This is a hat I knit for my friend using the 3 AM Blue Cable hat pattern. ( http://smariek.blogspot.com/2006/01/chemo-hat-8-completed-3am-blue-cable.html ) Just a word of warning, I followed the pattern exactly the first time, and ended up with a yamakkah (not sure if that is the correct spelling) I then knit it again doubling the amount of cable repeats and still ended up with a hat that was too short, finally after my third try, I got the right length. I am so glad to finally be getting this to my friend as I started the first one over a month ago. It is really hard to knit something three times in a row and still keep up your enthusiasm.
I love how the hat turned out, and I love the color, after tryig it on, I think I may have to go and get some more of this yarn (Red Heart Super Saver, soft yran in Soft grape) It is very cheap, very soft and I LOVE the color. Well, here it is, thanks for looking.
P.S. The color is a little more bright than what is shown in the picture.
